Xiaomi Mi 6 Expected To Launch In April, says CEO Lei Jun

If rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi Mi 6 will launch in April. During the recently held live stream session, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had confirmed the launch of Xiaomi Mi 6 before the first half of April. Based on the available credible information, Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus will be launched on April 11.

During the Mi live stream event, Jun was seen holding the upcoming Mi 6 with a Blue colored rear side. However, there are serious doubts among technology circles as to whether the phone is indeed the Mi 6. We can also spot Zang Zhiyuan, who is also a senior executive of Xiaomi.

On the specifications front, the smartphone will be equipped with Snapdragon 835 processor, dual camera alongside a 3D fingerprint sensor. Jun only gave an indication of the launch of the flagship phone in April but did not reveal the specifications.

In addition to the launch confirmation, Jun also reportedly exposed two images of the Mi 6 smartphone. The phone will ship with bezel-less display without a physical home button. Hence, you can expect navigation buttons to integrate with the display.
