Samsung Galaxy S8+ Available For Pre-order In China With A Freebie

Samsung Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable internal storage is available for pre-order for CNY 7000 in China. As part of the launch offer, Samsung has bundled a free Samsung Dex along with the product package.

You should note that Samsung Galaxy S8+ is available in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants with 64GB and 128GB internal storage models. The pre-order offer is for the 6GB RAM model in Midnight Black color. If you order the device now, you will also receive a free Samsung DeX docking station, which retails to $145.

Samsung’s decision to push Galaxy S8+ in 6GB RAM model is seen with great importance since the company is facing a tough challenge from companies such as Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi. Samsung is keen to drive enough sales by introducing various offers ahead of its official release on April 21.

Samsung announced the arrival of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ at Mobile World Congress 2017. The handsets and accessories were launched on April 29 at the Unpacked event in New York. However, Samsung will only release the handset on April 21. Hence, if you place your pre-order now, you will receive the handset only after April 21.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED QHD Corning Gorilla Glass 5 display, Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 processor, Adreno 540 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage, 12MP rear camera sensor, 8MP front-facing shooter loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. A 3000mAh fast charging battery provides power for the handset.

When it comes to Samsung Galaxy S8+, the phone ships with a 6.2-inch QHD display and a slightly higher battery of 3500mAh battery. You also have an option to pick a 6GB RAM paired with 128GB internal storage. The Galaxy S8+ will be useful for gamers who would like to enjoy the lag free gaming experience.

In addition to standard specifications, Samsung has integrated an Iris scanner, which enables you to unlock the phone quickly. Moreover, the addition of Bixby helps you to fetch answers to queries by voice. Samsung has provided a dedicated button on the side panel which will be used to activate the Bixby, voice assistant.
