Moto G4 Plus Gets Better With March Security Update

Motorola has pushed March security update for Moto G4 Plus handset. With build NPJS25.93-14.4, the update is rolled out over the air with baseband version M8952_80030.25.03.62R. The update is being made available via Kernel version 3.10.84-gb9596e1 with Android version 7.0 dated March 1, 2017.

In addition to the monthly security update, the Moto G4 Plus update also includes bug fixes and improvements to system related functionalities. You should install the update since it enhances the performance of the smartphone and optimizes the security level.

It will take some time for the update to hit your Moto G4 Plus smartphone depending upon your location. If the update is available, you will view a message notification. You can also manually verify the presence of the update by tapping Settings | About device | System updates option.

Before hitting the download button, you should establish connectivity of your phone with WiFi and charge the handset up to 80 percent for a trouble free installation.

On the specifications front, the Moto G4 Plus is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD IPS Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display, Snapdragon 617 processor, Adreno 405 graphics processor, 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB expandable internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing snapper loaded with Android Marshmallow.

A 3000mAh battery with support for fast charging supplies adequate power for the handset. Motorola is gearing up to launch Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Moto G4 Plus before the end of Q2 2017.
