Samsung has started to roll out a new software update consisting of April security patch for the Galaxy Tab S2 tablet with a 9.2-inch display. Dubbed as a minor update, you have to install the latest patch because it optimizes the performance of the 2-year old Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 with a 9.7-inch display.
Tagged with build number T810XXU2DQCL, the April security update also provides bug fixes and improvements. If you install the update, your tablet will be refreshed with a new version without any errors.
Samsung works hard by fixing the bugs reported by customers and infuses into the monthly update. Hence, if you install the updates, the performance of your device will be improved to a large extent.
Like in the case of all the previous updates, the April security patch is pushed via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your handset. You will view a message notification message when the update is available for your handset. You can also manually verify for the update by tapping Settings | About device | System updates.
Before initiating the download process, you should enable Wi-Fi and charge the Galaxy Tab S2 for up to 80 percent to avoid problems during the process.
Based on the latest information, the Android 7.0 Nougat update will be rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 before April 15. Recently, the roadmap of the Samsung Turkey’s Android Nougat surface online hinting at an imminent release.
