With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, it’s time to talk about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Based on the rumors, the company is currently in the process of closed beta testing Android Nougat on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
Tagged with build number N950FXXU0AQC6, the testing is being carried out on the Galaxy Note 8 with model number SM-N950F.
There are reports that Samsung has already started to test the software on the Galaxy Note 8. We infer that the product team has obtained access to the handset and testing the software.
If the rumors are to be believed, the software included with the Galaxy Note 8 is the latest Android Nougat version and will ship with the same user interface identical to that of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Furthermore, you can also expect the inclusion of Bixby personal assistant.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also ship with an Iris scanner, that provides the ability to unlock the handset using your eyes. Like in the Galaxy S8, you can expect Snapdragon 835 processor and a variant of Exynos processor. You can also expect a bump in te RAM and internal storage. The Note 8 will be available in both 64GB and 128GB storage variants.
In addition to the above features, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will also feature a large Infinity Display alongside the dual rear camera and S-Pen.
Regarding the release date, the Galaxy Note 8 will be released one month ahead of the Galaxy Note 7 launch. Hence, you can expect the launch before the end of July 2017. You will have to pay $150 extra than the Galaxy Note 7 launched in 2016.
