Interestingly, the latest update is available only for customers based in China since the Hydrogen OS is exclusive to OnePlus China. When it comes to the rest of the world, OnePlus infuses Oxygen OS. The UI, working, and usage of the software are same except the difference in the naming nomenclature.

After your OnePlus 3T has been updated, you will be able to work with a wide range of third-party apps. Moreover, the pre-installed apps have also been updated with new features.

You will also experience enhanced 2G connection with optimized pedometer functionality. The company also updated the camera app, sounds and improved the stability of the software. If you had complained about the appearance of a black screen randomly, you can relax since OnePlus has resolved the bug.

If you are located in China and work with OnePlus 3T, you should check for the message notification on your device for the installation of Hydrogen OS 3.0 version 2. If you are unable to view the message, it will take few days because the update is being rolled out via OTA. You can also manually check for the presence of the update by hitting Settings icon.
