Samsung has rolled out an update via OTA for the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro smartphone. Interestingly, the update is being pushed for the APK1 update. With build number C5010ZCU0APK1, the update will be currently available if you have access to Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro.
If you use Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, you should receive an update notification automatically. You should note that the update is pushed via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit the smartphone. You can also verify the presence of the update by navigating to Settings | About | System update.
If you see the message notification about the update, you should not click the button immediately. You should make sure that your smartphone is charged to more than 70 percent. Moreover, you should backup all our crucial data although not required for a minor update.
The update will have bug fixes. We don’t have any credible evidence to confirm the availability of features and improvements. The update is based on Android Marshmallow. However, Samsung will most likely launch Android Nougat update within the next few months for the Galaxy C5 Pro.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED FHD display, Snapdragon 626 processor, Adreno 506 graphics, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage, 16MP rear camera, 16MP font-facing snapper powered by a 2600mAh battery.
In addition to all major connectivity features and sensors, the Galaxy C5 Pro also provides support for a fingerprint sensor. GSMArena has stated that the phone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat. However, we have information that the recently released update is based on Android Marshmallow.
