OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 4.1.3 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones on an incremental basis. The update upgrades to 4.1.3 directly from the currently available 4.1.1. We expected OxygenOS 4.1.2 for the OnePlus 3 smartphone in Germany and Canada. However, we don’t have any official confirmation.
In addition to the upgraded Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the OxygenOS 4.1.3 provides expanded screenshots, enhanced picture capturing of moving objects with a reduction in a blur, improved video stability during recording.
Moreover, you will experience improved WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity including resolution of an Instagram swiping bug. The update also provided bug fixes for the hardware buttons malfunction including enhancement of system stability. You will also find general bug fixes.
The OxygenOS 4.1.3 is available via OTA on an incremental basis. Hence, the company has pushed the update only to a small percentage of users. The update will be available for a broader audience globally within the next few days.
If you are using OnePlus 3 or OnePlus 3T, you will receive a message notification when the update hits your device. If you are unable to view the message, you will have to wait for a few days. You can also verify the existence of the update manually by tapping Settings icon.
Before proceeding to install the update, you should backup data from the phone. Moreover, you should allocate 1GB of storage space to download and install the update. Furthermore, make sure to charge the handset up to 100 percent before tapping the Download button.
Please let us know whether you are able to receive OxygenOS 4.1.3 update.
