Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch a 64GB variant of Samsung Galaxy On5 smartphone with trimmed RAM and a front-facing shooter. According to TENAA listing, a new smartphone with model number SM-G5528 will ship with three internal storage variants.
We infer that device with model number SM-G5528 could be Samsung Galaxy On5 since the Galaxy On5 2016 accompanied with the model number SM-G5520. Moreover, the applicant name is listed as Huizhou Samsung Electronics, which indicates that the rumored handset is a product manufactured by Samsung.
With License No: 02-8147-171037, the TENAA certification was issued on April 10. Based on the listing, we can confirm that the handset beats a 5-inch HD display alongside a 2600mAh battery.
We can spot the rear camera along with the LED Flash centered on the rear side. We are unable to see any other controls on the rear. However, we expect the fingerprint scanner to be embedded into the physical home button.
If rumors are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy On5 will ship in three internal storage options such as 16GB/32GB and 64GB capacities. Interestingly, the amount of RAM has been downgraded to 2GB from 3GB in Galaxy On5 2016.
Based on the available information, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy On5 will be equipped with a 5MP front-facing snapper instead of 8MP in the previous counterpart. However, the rear camera will offer the same 13MP sensor.
You can expect the handset to ship pre-loaded with Android Marshmallow. However, there is a possibility of Samsung integrating Android Nougat since Marshmallow is outdated. We will keep track of the developments and provide you with updates. Stay tuned with NetAns.
