HTC U Ocean First Live Image Surfaces On Twitter

HTC U Ocean

The first live visuals of the HTC U Ocean flagship smartphone has surfaced on the web thanks to Evan Blass aka @evleaks. Blass took to Twitter and shared an image of the front and the rear side if a Black color variant of HTC U Ocean.

Based on the information available so far, the HTC U Ocean is the premium smartphone expected to hit the retail shelves in 2017. The company has already revealed that they will not release HTC 11. However, the plans could change depending upon what Apple has in store for you.

If you examine the front side of the leaked image, you can notice thin bezels. You will not find extra display as in the case of the HTC U Ultra smartphone. We can also spot a physical home button integrated with a fingerprint scanner on the bottom middle portion.

The rear side reveals the camera sensor alongside dual-LED flash. You can also view the traditional HTC logo on the middle of the rear side. We are unable to view the speaker grills on the rear side. Hence, you can expect the speaker holes on the bottom side portion. Unfortunately, the dual-camera is missing on the rear side.

If the rumors are to be believed, you can expect a unique pressure sensing side bezel on HTC U Ocean. If you press on the bezel, you will be able to perform various activities including capturing pictures, launching of apps and other text related functions.

We don’t have any information as to when HTC will officially launch the handset. We expect HTC to unveil the phone in July 2017 when Samsung will likely unveil Galaxy Note 8.
