Chuwi has entered crowdfunding mode for the upcoming premium tablet. The Chuwi Surbook will be available for sale within the next few months since the company has decided to crowdfund the project on Indiegogo.
Chuwi Surbook will feature a 12.3-inch display with a massive 2K resolution of 2736×1824 pixels. Moreover, the display bears an aspect ratio of 3:2, which provides an awesome reading experience. Chuwi is planning to design the tablet with the all-metal body to provide a premium look and feel.
Under the hood, the Chuwi Surbook will be equipped with an Intel Appolo Lake N3450 processor, Intel Gen9 HD Graphics, 6GB DDR3 RAM, 128GB eMMC internal storage powered by a 10000mAh Li-polymer battery. Moreover, the product package will be bundled with a 12V/2A charger, which helps you to quickly charge the tablet.
While the rear camera will offer 5MP sensor, the front-facing snapper is expected to ship with a 2MP sensor. Equipped with an ultra-slim detachable keyboard, the Chuwi Surbook package will also have a pressure sensitivity stylus with up to 1024 levels coupled with palm blocking technology.
When it comes to the connectivity, the Chuwi Surbook will include two full sized USB 3.0 ports and one full functionality USB Type-C port. The tablet will also provide support for 2.4/5Ghz dual-band Wi-Fi.
According to Chuwi, the Surbook will be loaded with Windows 10 Redstone OS. Hence, you can expect the launch in Q4 2017. If you provide your email address, you will receive a notification when the product gets listed on Indiegogo at a special price.
