If rumors are to be believed, you can expect the availability of Android Nougat update for Moto X Style and Moto X Pure. The main reason for the prediction is because of the fact that Moto X Style and Moto X Pure has been spotted on GFXBench running Android 7.0 Nougat.
According to the GFXBench listing, the Android 7.0 Nougat update has been captioned as Motoblur. Moreover, the benchmarking site mentions the model numbers as XT1570 and XT1572, which is indeed the relevant model numbers of the Moto X Pure and Moto X Style smartphones.
If you inspect the GFXBench site, you can see another device with model number XT1575, which should be that of the Moto X Style (Pure Edition).
With the indication of Android 7.0 Nougat push alongside the specific model numbers, you can expect an imminent arrival of the update for the two handsets including the Pure variant of the Moto X Style. However, the benchmarking results only mention about Motorola Moto X Style and Moto X Pure handsets.
On the specifications front, the handsets will be equipped with a 5.6-inch display, Adreno 418 graphics processor, 2.5GB RAM, 20MP rear camera alongside 4.8MP front-facing shooter. Moreover, the GFXBench has listed that the processor will run at 1.4GHz and 1.8GHz clock speed.
The display will provide five finger gesture support with a massive resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. According to GFXBench, the Moto handsets will be released in several internal storage variants such as 9GB, 10GB, 21GB, 24GB, 50GB, and 53GB.
Based on the results outlined on GFXBench, you can expect the availability of the Android Nougat update for Moto X Style and Moto X Pure within the next few days. To recall, Motorola has also confirmed the rollout of Android 7.1.1 Nougat for Moto Z Play. However, the company hasn’t revealed the exact time frame.
