It looks like another Gionee smartphone will hit the retail shelves soon. The specifications of Gionee S10B loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat has been spotted at GFXBench. Recently, the same handset was spotted on the popular Chinese certification site – TENAA.
Tagged with Gionee S10B, the rumored handset will feature a 5.5-inch FHD display, MediaTek MT6755 processor, ARM Mali-T860 graphics processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. However, the Android platform name has been quoted as Android Gionee edition.
If you verify GFXBench, you will know that the RAM and storage specifications have been trimmed. While the RAM is mentioned as 3.7GB, the internal storage has been stated as 53GB. A 3700mAh battery provides power for the upcoming handset.
While the rear camera is equipped with a 12MP sensor, the front-facing shooter features a 16MP sensor. As per the GFXBench site, you will be able to shoot 4K images and FHD videos. Moreover, the camera sensor provides support for autofocus, face detection, flash, HDR photo, and touch focus.
Interestingly, the TENAA listing shows the presence of a dual 13MP sensor on the rear but the GFXBench data reveals only 12MP sensor. When it comes to the front, you will be able to work with a 16MP camera sensor instead of 13MP in the previous counterpart.
Based on the rumors, the Gionee S10B is expected to launch on May 26. As of writing this, we don’t have any information about the pricing of the handset. We expect Gionee to tag the handset at a price of below $200 to compete with the likes of Xiaomi Mi6.
