CHUWI has announced that they have fixed the price of CHUWI Lapbook 12.3 at $349. Moreover, the company also confirmed to us that they will release the Lapbook in May 2017.

In a statement released to the press, CHUWI also apologized to the fans for the late release of the Lapbook 12.3 tablet. Previously, the company revealed that they will unveil the tablet by the end of April 2017.

With Chuwi publicly admitting the mistake, the product team is currently working in full capacity to push the tablet to the retail shelves. It also shows the commitment of the company to manufacture the Lapbook. You can also ensure that the company will keep the promise they made to the customers.

On the specifications front, the CHUWI Lapbook 12.3 is equipped with a 12.3-inch display, Intel Appolo Lake N3450 processor, Gen9 HD Graphics, 6GB RAM, 64GB eMMC (128GB, M2 SSD (256GB)) expandable storage, 2MP rear camera loaded with both Windows 10 and Ubuntu OS.

The main attraction of CHUWI Lapbook 12.3 is the integration of a 12.3-inch 2K display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 alongside 3:2 aspect ratio. The Lapbook 12.3 will integrate a 36.48Wh battery, which is capable of delivering excellent backup time.

Designed with an all-metal body, the CHUWI Lapbook 12.3 features one USB 3 and USB 2 ports paired with Mini HDMI ports and dual-band Wi-Fi. The tablet also includes Intel 3165 built-in Bluetooth and OCH177 magnetic sensor.

With a thickness of 16.7mm, the CHUWI Lapbook 12.3 measures 1442 grams. The tablet will be heavy for the person with less body weight. However, the product package will include a dockable keyboard.
