HTC U 11 Teaser Reveals Stunning Facts


HTC has officially released a new teaser video showcasing HTC U 11 and few stunning unseen facts. Tipped to release on May 16, HTC teaser video reveals the squeeze portion of the handset. We expect the integration of squeeze feature in the upcoming handset. The pressure-sensitive edges of the HTC U 11 handset will be able to automatically recognize gestures into actions.

In the video, HTC has shown the use of the new feature by integrating clips of our daily activities. It also reveals that we need to squeeze to get the required job done. If you watch the video, you can see people squeezing various things such as the bun, orange, stapler, lemon, trumpet, hand muscle and a hand.


If you carefully watch the HTC U 11 teaser video, you will view the upcoming smartphone in Blue color. We can spot two handsets after two frames. Towards the end of the video, we can see the punchline “Squeeze the Brilliant U” with May 16 as the release date.

According to rumors, the touch sensitive bezels would provide direct access to the power and volume control. It will also integrate a fingerprint scanner.

On the specifications front, the HTC U 11 is equipped with a 5.5-inch WQHD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB expandable internal storage, a 12MP rear camera coupled with 16MP selfie snapper. The rear camera is designed using ultrapixel technology for maximum clarity and color reproduction.

You will work with HTC Sense 9 UI loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat by default. Hence, you will be able to take advantage of all the latest features of Android Nougat. That said, you can expect HTC U 11 to compete heavily with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
