Verizon has pushed an update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge along with the April security patch. According to users, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on Verizon have started to receive a new update. After the installation of the OTA update, your device will be updated with the April security patch. Hence, you can expect improvements and bug fixes.

With software build version NRD90M.G930VVRU4BQC5, the update includes latest enhancements for Enterprise customers. The update brings in One Talk support, which helps you to establish connectivity with your office and mobile devices with one number. The OTA update also ships with improvements to the Samsung Knox mobile security platform. Moreover, the Amazon shopping app has been updated to version 8.1.1 with the update.

According to Verizon, the latest update includes several enhancements for Enterprise customers. It will take few days for the update to hit your handsets depending upon your location.

If your device is eligible, you will view a message notification. You should select the relevant Download option to proceed further. Alternatively, you can also manually verify the presence of the update by tapping the Settings icon.

You should also establish connectivity with Wi-Fi and charge the handset to more than 80 percent. You should note that the update is not a full-blown Android Nougat. Hence, the total capacity of the update will be below 100MB. If you have access to a reliable 4G connectivity, you can make use of it as well. However, it is advisable to make use of Wi-Fi to avoid interruption during installation.
