Asus has pushed an update to the Asus ZenPad 10 tablet. If you install the update, your Asus ZenPad 10 will be updated with Google security patch including new features and improvements. The highlight of the update with software version V5.3.6 is that it removes a wide range of redundant apps shortcuts such as Splendid, System update, Audio Wizard, and Flashlight.
After yo install the update, you will not view Tap and hold to show menu option if you navigate to Settings | ASUS customized settings |Touch key. The update also adds an option named Tap and hold to activate Multi-window in touch keysetting.
The update has been designed to provide support for multiple pages. Moreover, you will be able to swipe left to right to view additional quick settings. You can enter the edit screen by tapping the edit button on top right corner.
You will be able to activate multi-window by tapping and holding apps key. The Asus ZenPad 10 tablet also provides support for SupportUnlock tool and Game Genie. If you have access to Asus ZenPad 10 and installed the update, you will be able to activate lock screen wallpaper slideshow and work with bundled notifications switch.
It works by merging all notifications oriented for a single app into one group, which can be expanded to view the individual messages.
In addition to the above features, the Asus ZenPad 10 update also includes enhanced emojis as per Unicode 9.0 standard. Moreover, the ZEN UI keyboard has been updated with skin tone selection capability. As you can see, Asus has integrated a wide range of features in the form of the update to the premium Asus ZenPad 10 tablet.
You should note that it will take few days for the update to hit your handset depending upon your region since the update is being rolled out via OTA. If you are eligible, you will view a message notification. You should proceed as per the instructions outlined on the notification. Alternatively, you can also check for the message notification by tapping Settings icon.
Before proceeding to install the update, you need to backup all the data from your ZenPad 10. Moreover, you should establish connectivity with Wi-Fi to download and install the update.
