Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 On AT&T Expected To Refresh With Android Nougat

AT&T is gearing up to launch Android Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet. The news assumes significance with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with the model number SM-T818A clearing the Wi-Fi Alliance. With certification ID WFA66938, the phone reportedly received the required Wi-Fi certification on April 28.

While the hardware version is mentioned as REV0.3, the firmware version of the tablet is tagged with T818T.001. However, both hardware and firmware versions will ship with the same Wi-Fi component, which is REV1.0.

According to industry analysts, AT&T will launch Android Nougat update within the next few days. After the installation of the update, you will be able to enjoy the features of the new Android platform such as enhanced Doze mode among others.

You will be able to work with split screen functionality including revamped notifications shade. The refreshed Settings menu will help you to access various functions easily. In addition to Android Nougat update, you can also expect AT&T to unveil monthly security patch with bug fixes.
