Samsung is gearing up to push April security update in addition to Android Nougat for Galaxy A3 2016 edition. According to reports, the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A3 2016 and Galaxy A3 2017 are scheduled to receive Android Nougat. This is a much-awaited bump from Android Marshmallow.
If your handset gets upgraded to Android Nougat, then you will be able to experience enhanced performance. Your device will be refreshed with multi-window support, enhanced Doze mode including bundled notifications. Your smartphone will have improved and refreshed user experience.
Samsung Turkey has released the Android Nougat schedule for the Galaxy range of smartphones.
You can also expect Android Nougat to hit Samsung Galaxy A3 and A3 Duos 2015 smartphones. Interestingly, the Android Nougat roadmap for Turkey has included Samsung Galaxy A3 2015. We expect the update to roll out in July 2017.
In the meantime, Samsung has started to roll out periodic updates in the form of security patches. Hence, your smartphone will be protected against malware and known threats. Recently, Samsung has rolled out April security update tagged with software version A300FXXU1BQD1.
