If rumors are to be believed, T-Mobile will push Android Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones. The US-based mobile carrier has started the testing phase of the Android 7.0 Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge smartphones.
As part of the testing program, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge will undergo a series of testing as per the standards of the T-Mobile certification process. The main purpose of the testing is to ensure the release of the best quality premium software. T-Mobile is serious when it comes to Android updates. Hence, the product team is taking all possible measures to ensure trouble free functioning of the software.
Based on the reports, the T-Mobile will roll out Android Nougat update for not only Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge but also Samsung Galaxy S6. If you work with Samsung Galaxy S6, then you can expect the arrival of Android 7.0 Nougat. Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus got refreshed with Android 7.0 Nougat a few days back.
Samsung Galaxy S6 features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED QHD Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display, Exynos 7420 processor, Mali-T760MP8 graphics, 3GB RAM, 32/64/128GB, 16MP rear camera sensor, 5MP front-facing shooter powered by a 2550mAh battery with support for wireless charging. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the front side with support for accelerometer, barometer, SpO2, and heart rate.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge is equipped with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED QHD (577PPI) Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display, Exynos 7420 processor, Mali-T760MP8 graphics processor, 3GB RAM, 32/64/128GB expandable internal storage.
