Asus X00ID Benchmarking Data Reveals Dual Camera And Android Nougat

Asus is reportedly gearing up to launch a new smartphone with model number Asus X00ID. The news assumes significance with the appearance of the smartphone on GFXBench. According to GFXBench, the upcoming Asus X00ID will be equipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat alongside a dual rear camera sensor.

Based on the information available on GFXBench, the rumored Asus X00ID will feature a 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon processor, Adreno 505 graphics, 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB expandable internal storage. The processor runs at a clock speed of 1.4GHz, which is low for a smartphone.

However, if you inspect the benchmarking results, the total amount of RAM is mentioned as 2.8GB and the internal storage as 23GB. We expect the integration of fast charging support.

While the rear camera will offer a 12MP and 5MP dual camera sensors, the front-facing shooter is accompanied by an 8MP sensor. You will be able to capture 4K images using the rear camera and 3K images using the secondary rear camera. When it comes to the front camera, the Asus X00ID will provide support for capturing FHD videos.

If you think that the above-mentioned specifications are incorrect, then you are wrong. The addition of a dual rear camera is almost confirmed since the processor provides support for up to 21M dual camera sensors.

In addition to all major connectivity features, the Asus X00ID will offer support for accelerometer, gyroscope, pedometer, and proximity. However, the phone will not include support for NFC.

Going forward, we can expect Android Nougat to be pre-loaded with all Asus branded smartphones. The addition of Android Nougat in a budget smartphone is seen with great importance.
