Xiaomi has launched Mi India Product Take-Back & Recycling Program in partnership with TES-AMM India. The main purpose of the program is to offer discounts in the form of Mi coupons in exchange for your old electronics equipment and devices. You can make use of the coupons to purchase products from the official e-commerce store.
As part of the program, Xiaomi will accept faulty electronic products for recycling purposes. You should note that the company will accept products manufactured by any company. You will be provided with a discount coupon worth Rs. 100, which you can make use of at the official Mi.com store for any purchase above Rs. 1000.
It is to be noted that the Mi India Product Take-Back & Recycling Program is oriented for the End of Life products. The company will not offer replacements or repairs for the damaged and faulty products. If you have any product which is not in a working condition, you can give them to Xiaomi in exchange for a discount coupon.

Commenting on the development, Xiaomi disclosed that the company has been committed to recycling electronic items such as speakers, headphones, power banks and mobiles. Normally, they are discarded as waste by the consumer. The aim of the program is to act with more responsibility towards the environment.
To participate in the program, you need to complete the online form, which can be accessed from your Mi account. The recycler will establish contact with you within 7 days. Moreover, the product(s) will be collected within 15 days of initiating the pickup request. You will not be charged any money for participating in the program.
