LG X Power2 With 4500mAh Battery Expected To Hit Retail Shelves Globally

LG is gearing up to launch LG X Power2 smartphone with a massive 4500mAh battery. According to company sources, the LG X Power2 will be available globally by the end of June 2017. You will be able to buy the smartphone initially in North America followed by emerging markets such as Asia, Latin America, and Europe.

As of this writing, LG hasn’t provided any information regarding the expected pricing and availability date. However, the smartphone name and the pricing will differ depending upon each market.

Touted as a successor to LG X Power, the upcoming smartphone is oriented for heavy-duty users. According to LG, the smartphone will be capable of delivering a backup of over one week with the integrated 4500mAh battery.

Commenting on the launch of LG X Power2, Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics disclosed that the handset has been designed to satisfy the requirements of the users. Moreover, the phone will be useful for users who want a maximum backup with their smartphones. If you charge the phone today, then you only need to charge the handset again after one week.

On the specifications front, the LG X Power2 features a 5.5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6750 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing snapper loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. You will be able to experience enhanced performance with the latest Android Nougat. It is possible to take advantage of the improved Doze support and notifications.

If you look at the RAM, the LG X Power2 will be equipped with either 1.5GB or 2GB RAM. We haven’t heard about the existence of smartphones with 1.5GB RAM. Hence, it is a possibility that the handset will ship with 2GB RAM. You can also expect LED Flash on both the rear and front camera sensors.

LG X Power2 will be available in Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold, and Shiny Blue color variants. However, the color will vary depending upon the region and markets.
