OnePlus is gearing up to launch OnePlus 5 within the next few months. The latest news is that the benchmarks of OnePlus 5 have been leaked via Geekbench. According to reports, the benchmarks results of OnePlus 5 has beaten Samsung Galaxy S8 in all aspects.
Upon inspection of Geekbench results, we can infer that OnePlus 5 tested by Geekbench has been loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. With model ID OnePlus ONEPLUS A5000, the build number has been tagged as ONEPLUS A5000_20_170509.
While the OnePlus 5 has got a single core score of 1963, the multi-core score has been tagged as 6687. The Geekbench version was 4.1.0 and was targeted at Android AArch64.
The multi-core score of 6687 fetched by OnePlus 5 is better than the Samsung Galaxy S8+ (8895), which got a score of 6375. As you can see, OnePlus 5 performs better than the recently launched Galaxy S8+.
The Huawei Mate 9 and Galaxy S8+ (S835), iPhone 7 Plus, OnePlus 3T lags behind OnePlus 5. Interestingly, the OnePlus 3T is in 7’th position when compared with OnePlus 5.
When it comes to single-core numbers, the OnePlus 5 lags behind Apple iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy S8+ (8895). As mentioned above, the OnePlus 5 got a single core score of 1963. However, the iPhone 7 Plus got a massive 3473 and Galaxy S8+ got a score of 1978.
