If you are located in Hong Kong, you can cheer because Samsung Galaxy S8+ is currently available on the retail shelves. According to Samsung Hong Kong listing, the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB internal storage is available in the country.
During the launch event, Samsung had confirmed about the launch of a premium Galaxy S8+ handset in Hong Kong. The same model has been already released in Korea and China. Even though the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage has been listed on the website, we don’t have any information about the price and the estimated availability of the smartphone.
You will be able to purchase Samsung Galaxy S8+ in four color variants such as Gray, Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Platinum Gold. Furthermore, the 6GB model of Galaxy S8+ will be made available in the unlocked format identical to that of the China.
The recently launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ had created a huge impact among tech enthusiasts all over the world. With bezel-less display and addition of Bixby, the smartphone created a huge buzz. However, few people faced problems with the display and the company was forced to issue an update via OTA.
On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy S8+ is equipped with a 6.2-inch display, 12MP dual pixel rear camera, 6GB RAM paired with 128GB internal storage. The handset also offers a dedicated button for the activation of Bixby and fingerprint scanner embedded on to the bezel-less display.
That said, the company is finding it difficult to push sales of the Samsung Galaxy S8 series since Samsung is unable to compete with rivals such as Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Elephone, and Huawei.
