If rumors are to be believed, we can expect an imminent launch of Huawei Maya phone loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The main reason is because of the fact that the rumored smartphone has cleared Wi-Fi Alliance.
According to the data recovered from the Wi-Fi Alliance, we can see three different model numbers. The phone with model number MYA-L02 has been tagged as the smartphone as the product name. The name Maya has been probably derived from the model MYA.
We can also expect the launch of Huawei Maya phone with model numbers MYA-L03 and MYA-L11. The screenshot reveals the fact that all the models got the required certification on May 10. We expect the launch of 2GB/3GB and 4GB RAM variants of the smartphone.
Even though there are not much information available regarding the features and specifications, we can confirm that the handset will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow by default. However, we are not sure as to whether Huawei will push Android Nougat update in the near future.
That said, there is no point in releasing a new premium smartphone loaded with Android Marshmallow when Google is gearing up to launch Android Oreo. When it comes to the price, we expect the new Huawei Maya phone to be made available less than $150.
It’s true that Huawei Maya phone has cleared Wi-Fi Alliance. Hence, the launch of the phone will take place within the next few months. However, you should accept the facts only with a pinch of salt.
