In a significant development, OnePlus 5 has been listed on Gearbest, which is a Chinese-based e-commerce retailer. Tagged as the global version, the OnePlus 5 will ship with enhanced specifications when compared with the currently available OnePlus 3T. However, it depends upon how correct the information revealed by Gearbest is true.
On the specifications front, the OnePlus 5 will be equipped with a 5.5-inch 2K (2560×1440) display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 8GB RAM, 64GB internal storage loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat. The processor will run at a clock speed of 2.35GHz.
While the rear camera will feature a 23MP sensor, the front-facing snapper will ship with a 16MP sensor. A 4000mAh battery supplies the required power for the handset.
The main attraction of the upcoming OnePlus 5 is that you will be able to extend the storage capacity. In addition to OnePlus 5, the product package includes a power adapter, USB cable, user manual and SIM ejector needle.
That said, you should accept the above information only with a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, OnePlus took to Weibo and confirmed the launch of OnePlus 5 before the end of Summer 2017.
