Motorola Moto C surfaces at Geekbench after launch

The specifications of the Motorola Moto C smartphone has been leaked via Geekbench benchmarking site. According to the results, the Moto C will be loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat alongside 1GB RAM. The phone is suitable for beginners since the specifications are that of entry-level.

While the single core score averages to 451 points, the multi-core test yields a score of 1260. You cannot expect more since the phone is powered by an MT6737M processor with 1GB RAM.

Moreover, because of the stock Android, you need not have to expect bloatware. You can expect good performance because of the stock UI.

On the specifications front, the Moto C features MediaTek MT6737 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage, 5MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing snapper loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat. A 2350mAh battery supplies power for the handset.

As per the Geekbench results, the processor runs at a speed of 1.09GHz with 4 cores. The RAM capacity has been stated as 933MB, which is technically 1GB. The phone is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat but we expect an upgrade to Android 7.1 within the next few months.

Interestingly, the Moto C Plus was also launched along with Moto C. The phone offers the same MediaTek MT6737 processor wth a slight difference in the clock speed. The handset is also available in 2GB RAM variant coupled with an 8MP sensor on the rear. The highlight of Moto C Plus is the addition of a 4000mAh battery, which will be capable of delivering an enhanced backup time.
