Xiaomi is gearing up to launch Xiaomi Mi Max 2. However, just ahead of the official release, few unseen pictures of the handset have been leaked on the web. After passing through various certifications such as Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth, Xiaomi is all set to unveil Mi Max 2.
Upon inspection of the three leaked renders, we can spot the rear camera sensor coupled with LED flash, fingerprint scanner, and antenna lines. The rear side of the handset has been leaked. We can also see the traditional Mi logo followed by the required regulatory statements. The fingerprint sensor is placed in the middle and it looks glowing rounded in shape.
The second image is a close-up shot of the above image. However, we can only spot the content of the bottom portion clearly. Towards the middle of the Chinese content, we can see TF-LTE alongside MDE40. Moreover, there is also a statement that the handset is designed by Xiaomi and assembled in China.
The third leaked image is identical to that of the first except the fact the handset is placed far ahead on a window grill. As you can see from the below image, it is possible to identify the fingerprint scanner precisely.
On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will feature a 6.4-inch display, Snapdragon 626 processor, 4GB RAM including the possibility of a 6GB RAM capacity. There are rumors that Xiaomi will unveil a 6-inch variant of the handset as well. When it comes to the optics, the handset will offer a 12MP rear camera coupled with 5MP front-facing snapper.
The highlight of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be the fact that the battery capacity will be 5000mAh instead of 4000mAh in the previous counterpart. We wonder why Xiaomi will integrate a Snapdragon 626 processor when the currently available Xiaomi Mi Max is available with Snapdragon 650 processor.
In all probability, Xiaomi will manufacture Mi Max 2 in full metal unibody. Moreover, the phone will be loaded with MIUI 9 likely on the top of Android Nougat.
That said, you should accept the facts only with a pinch of salt since there is no official confirmation. We will continue to keep track of the developments. Stay tuned with NetAns.
