T-Mobile LG G5 gets better with monthly security update HH83020f

T-Mobile has started to push a new software update for the flagship LG G5 smartphones with build number HH83020f. If you are a customer of T-Mobile and use LG G5 handset, you should have received a message notification by now. The update is being rolled out via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to reach your phone.

With software version HH83020f, the update installs the latest monthly security patches based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The software version details page states that the update will fix software stability and bug fixes. You will be able to experience enhanced performance after the installation of the update in addition to improved security against ransomware and malware.

The catch regarding the update is that you will be able to install only on those LG G5 which are running on a previous software build number captioned H83020f. You should make sure that you are running the build before proceeding to install the latest update.

You should make sure to activate Wi-Fi and charge the handset up to 50 percent.
