Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Chinese certification reveals crucial details

If rumors are to be believed, the Chinese variant of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has received the relevant certification. A popular tipster with the handle @mmddj_china took to Twitter and revealed the model numbers of the rumored handsets.

While the standard Galaxy Note 8 will ship with the model number SM-N9500, the CMCC version will bear model number SM-N9508. You should note that the model numbers are oriented for Chinese version and not for global variant of the Galax Note 8.

Based on the rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will ship with a large 6.3-inch Infinity display with support for S Pen. The leaks emerging from the mills suggest that the Galaxy Note 8 will look similar to that of the Galaxy SS8 display with minimum bezels.

With either Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor on board, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will ship with 6GB RAM, 256GB internal storage coupled with IP68 water-resistant rating. A 3600mAh battery will supply adequate power for the handset.

Tipped to ship with Android 7.1.2 Nougat, the Galaxy Note 8 will also include Iris scanner, which enables you to unlock the handset with the help of your eyes.

On the optics front, you can expect the presence of a dual rear camera with a capacity of 12MP and 13MP respectively. The purpose of the 12MP sensor is to capture wide-angle images. However, the 13MP sensor will work as a telephoto lens with a capability to zoom 3x times. The camera sensor is similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus camera.

Interestingly, the same tipster @mmddj_china also revealed via another tweet that the Galaxy Note 8 will ship with S Pen. Hence, you can infer that the S Pen will be bundled with the product package.

Moreover, the leaker via another tweet disclosed that currently the Note 8 is under testing with the ugly plastic back cover. Hence, the handset will not find limelight until early July.

In all probability, the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will launch in July. The company will conduct a launch event in the USA followed by regional events in India. t remains to be seen as to how customers will accept Galaxy Note 8 after the deadly Note 7 fiasco.
