Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro With Android 5.1 Lollipop Launched

Samsung has launched the Galaxy J3 Pro handset in India at Rs. 7990 in Gold, White and Black color variants. The handset was launched in China in 2016. The disadvantage of Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro is the addition of Android 5.1 Lollipop. However, if you are a beginner and would like to work with a budget smartphone for performing basic tasks, then you will find the Galaxy J3 Pro useful.

If you compare the specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro, you will find that the Indian variant comes with a Quad-Core Spreadtrum processor running at a clock speed of 1.5GHz. The Chinese version shipped with Snapdragon 410 processor. The phone is designed using an attractive polycarbonate body made out from metal.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro is equipped with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Spreadtrum processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop. The highlight of the handset is the addition of the S-Bike mode coupled with data saving features and capabilities.

While the rear camera is equipped with an 8MP sensor paired with LED flash, the front-facing snapper offers a 5MP sensor. You will bee able to capture decent selfies using the front camera. The Galaxy J3 Pro is powered by a 2600mAh battery, which is capable of delivering a backup of 2 days.

We wonder why Samsung has integrated Android 5.1 Lollipop on the smartphone. If you purchase the handset, you need not have to expect any upgrades. If Samsung is really interested in integrating Android Marshmallow, they can do it now itself. There is no point in waiting for the next few months for the update.

In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro also provides support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. Moreover, you can extend the functionality by inserting dual SIM cards. However, the fingerprint sensor, which is normally present in all the smartphones is not available with the newly launched handset.
