Samsung has rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy Note 5 handsets in Europe. With baseband version number N920IDVU3CQD3, the update is currently pushed over the air. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your smartphone depending upon your location.
If you have access to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, you will view a message notification. You should tap on the message and follow the instructions to proceed with the download of the update. Alternatively, you can manually check for the presence of the update by tapping Settings icon.
If you install the Android 7.0 Nougat update measuring 1.4GB, you will be able to experience several new features such as notification controls, split-window mode, enhanced menu options, doze mode and other new features. In addition to Android Nougat, the latest update also includes March Android security update.
