    The image of the Yellow color variant of the Huawei Honor 9 has been leaked revealing the curved back panel. A user with the handle Kumamoto Technology took to Weibo and uploaded the image with the rear panel in yellow color. Moreover, it looks curved as well.

    The post only includes a word “Guess”, which prompts the users to comment on the name of the handset. The Weibo post only includes the rear side and doesn’t feature the front portion. We don’t have any information about the rumored specifications and features.

    On the specifications front, the Huawei Honor 9 is expected to feature a 5.15-inch FHD display coupled with a dual camera mechanism comprising of 20MP and 12MP sensors at the rear side. The handset is powered by a processor running at a clock speed of 2.4GHz.

    Regarding the selfie snapper, there are reports that the handset will offer a dual camera setup. However, we have conflicting reports that the front camera will ship with an 8MP sensor. Expected to launch on June 12, the Honor 9 is expected to be available at a price of CNY 2999, which equates to $440.

    We expect the Honor 9 will launch in China initially followed by other emerging countries such as India.
