OnePlus has announced the launch of OnePlus 5 in India on June 22 at NSCI Dome, Mumbai. The launch invite is affixed with the message “Focus on what matters“. Does OnePlus statement depict the presence of an enhanced camera? It prompts you to focus on a content which matters. Hence, it could be related to the dual rear camera.
Moreover, the statement is divided into the half with the top portion with a specific sky blue color and the bottom portion with dark blue color. On the specifications front, the OnePlus 5 will feature a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat.
There are widespread reports on the rumor mills about the release of a premium OnePlus 5 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. If OnePlus release a smartphone with 8GB RAM, then it will compete with the upcoming Surface Phone. However, there is no sign of any imminent release of Surface Phone since there is no official confirmation.
