Moto Z2 surfaces on GeekBench with Snapdragon 835 processor

Moto Z2 has surfaced on GeekBench with 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 835 processor loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The integration of Snapdragon 835 is seen with high importance because of the upcoming OnePlus 5 ships with the same processor alongside 8GB RAM.

While Motorola Moto Z2 hits a single-core score of 1879, the handset grabs a massive score of 6503 when it comes to the multi-core score. The processor runs at a clock speed of 1.90 GHz running at 8 cores. With motherboard model msm8998, the Moto Z2 is equipped with 4GB RAM.

On the optics front, the Moto Z2 features a dual camera, which is an interesting change for fans who love Motorola handsets. The company is gearing up to take over reins in the digital photography segment in a bid to compete with Apple and other Chinese brands.

According to reports, the display will bear 1440p and will ship with a mid-level battery. If Motorola decides to infuse a low-end battery, then the upcoming Moto Z2 will provide support for Moto Mods using which you can expand the battery.

Even though Moto Z2 will ship with Snapdragon 835 processor, OnePlus gains advantage since the handset is rumored to ship with 8GB RAM. Interestingly, Microsoft Surface Phone also ships with 8GB RAM. You can expect more companies to follow the path by infusing cutting-edge processor and memory by the end of 2017.
