Samsung has released Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 in Germany. Recently, the Galaxy A3 2016 loaded with Android Nougat had surfaced on Wi-Fi Alliance followed by GFXBench. Hence, the recent release of Android Nougat for the handset doesn’t come as a surprise.
With build number A310FXXU3CQE6, the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy A3 2016 has been released in Germany. We expect the update to be made available in other markets within the next few days.
If you have access to Samsung Galaxy A3 2016, you will view a message notification, which prompts you to install the update. It will take few days for the update to hit your handsets depending upon your availability because the update is being rolled out via OTA.
After the installation of the update, you will be able to work with the new features of Android 7.0 Nougat such as enhanced Doze mode, improved notifications, split-screen and the additions of bundled notifications.
You should note that the update is a full-blown version of Android 7.0 Nougat. Hence, you should free up to 2GB of internal storage space. Moreover, you should activate Wi-Fi including charging the handset to full capacity. The update process involves downloading over 1.5GB of data. Hence, you should charge the handset fully to avoid interruption.
If you are unable to view a message notification, you should wait for few days. However, you can always verify the presence of the update by tapping Settings icon.
