BlackBerry KeyOne gets better with June security update

BlackBerry has started to roll out June security update for the BlackBerry KeyOne smartphone. Interestingly, the update was pushed on June 5, which is the same date on which the April update was also made available.

According to reports, customers are currently updating their devices by hitting the Update app in the app tray. If you follow this method, you will be able to update the handset quickly. While the software version for the update rolled out for North American users is tagged with AAL483, the version for the Europe-based customers are provided with the number AAL682.

In addition to security related bug fixes, the latest update also includes new features and enhancements. Moreover, the company is well known for the deep integration of security. The addition to swipe to type feature is a classic example.

You can also manually check for the presence of the update by tapping the Update app. Before proceeding to download the update, you should make sure to charge the device up to 100 percent and also establish connectivity with Wi-Fi.
