Essential Phone touted to be Sprint exclusive in USA

Essential Phone

Essential Phone was recently launched in the USA with excellent specifications. In a significant move, the Andy Rubin-owned company had established a strategic partnership with the Sprint. Hence, if you purchase the Essential phone, it will be exclusive to Sprint.

According to reports, the unlocked variant of the Essential Phone will be compatible with other leading mobile carriers and will be sold online. If you purchase the locked variant from an offline retail shop then it will be Sprint-centric. You have to carefully select a model suitable for you. If you would like to change the provider frequently, you should opt for the unlocked model.

When it comes to the online, the Essential Phone will be available in several pricing schemes such as EMI. However, customers who opt for Sprint model will get discounts. You will have to pay $200 initially and fill up the balance in 24 monthly installments.

The scenario is identical to that of the Google Pixel, which is exclusive to Verizon. However, if you purchase from Amazon, BestBuy or other online sources, the handset works with all carriers.

We don’t have any credible information about the expected price of the Sprint flavored Essential Phone. However, the unlocked model of the hyped Essential Phone is available for $699 from the official website.
