HTC has pushed a software update for the HTC Desire 10 Pro smartphone. With software version 1.18.401.20, the update is rolling out via OTA and is based on Android Marshmallow. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your smartphones.
The latest update provides several improvements related to the stability and system-related enhancements. Moreover, the bugs reported by users are fixed in the latest build. A Twitter user with the handle @Insane_Driving reportedly based in the UAE has tagged the popular tipster @LlabTooFeR wit the information that the update is currently available for the HTC Desire 10 Pro.

The official software update page states that you will not be able to make use of the smartphone during the update process. Moreover, you cannot make any emergency calls. It also provides a message, which states that you should not turn off the handset and remove the expandable storage.
The size of the HTC Desire 10 Pro software update is 489.41 MB. Hence, you should activate Wi-Fi before initiating the download process. However, if you have access to a 4G connectivity with 1GB data limit per day, you can download the update over mobile.
If you work with HTC Desire 10 Pro, you will receive an update message notification. If you are unable to view a notification, you need to wait for few days. However, you can manually verify the presence of the update by navigating to the Settings menu. You have to select Software Update option from the About tab.
