Moto E4 Passes Wi-Fi Certification With Android 7.1 Nougat

Motorola Moto E4 has surfaced on Wi-Fi Alliance after appearing at TKDN recently. If a smartphone passes the Wi-Fi certification, you can expect an imminent launch of the handset.

Upon inspection of the official Wi-Fi Alliance certificate, we can see that the product and model number are same as XT1902-2. With certification ID WFA72379, the upcoming Moto E4 ships pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

When it comes to the hardware version, the product is mentioned as MT6757CH and Wi-Fi component as MT6625L. In the firmware version section, the product is mentioned as alps-mp-n1.mp5-V1.19 and Wi-Fi component as Va.6c.f3. The frequency band has been mentioned as 2.4 GHz.

Based on the reports, we can infer that the Moto E4 will be a budget-friendly smartphone with all the goodness of Android Nougat. You will be able to work with all the latest features such as improved Doze mode, enhanced notifications, and split-screen.
