Samsung has rolled out June security patch for the Galaxy J2 Prime and Galaxy C9 Pro smartphones. The updates are currently being pushed via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your handsets.
While the software build number for the Galaxy J2 Prime is tagged with G532GDDU1AQE3, the version number for the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro comes with C900FDDU1AQE6. In addition to security patches, you can also expect several bug fixes including stability related enhancements.
If you have access to the devices, you will receive a message notification. Otherwise, you need to wait for few more days. Alternatively, you can also verify the presence of the update by manually navigating to the Settings menu. You need to select Software Updates option from the Above Device section.
Before initiating the download process, you should capture a backup of your data, which includes images and videos. Moreover, you should enable Wi-Fi and charge the handset up to 90 percent to facilitate an uninterrupted installation.
