Samsung has rolled out June security update for the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. With build number G925IDVS3EQF1, the update is being pushed via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your smartphone. If you have access to the device and are eligible for the update, you will view a message notification.

In addition to bug fixes, the June security update for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also takes care of the several security related vulnerabilities. If you install the update, you can expect enhanced performance and stability. You need not have to expect any new features since the security update is oriented for addressing bug fixes and other critical vulnerabilities.

Before proceeding to download the update, you should charge the handset up to 90 percent. Moreover, you should establish connectivity with Wi-Fi to avoid excess data charges.
