Samsung is gearing up to launch Galaxy Note 8 within the next few days. Based on the reports, we can guess that the launch will happen before the commencement of IFA 2017. It remains to be seen how Samsung convince customers to purchase the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 after the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco in 2016.
With just a few days left for the launch, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has surfaced on HTML5 browser benchmark site. This is interesting because normally smartphones are leaked on Geekbench and GFXBench. The design will be identical to that of the recently released Galaxy S8 series.
With model number SM-N950U, the rumored handset was found loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Samsung Internet 6.0 browser. Moreover, the handset grabbed a score of 517 out of 555, which is decent as per benchmarks. If you look at the Samsung Galaxy S8, it fetched a score of 506 points. However, you should note that the Galaxy8 was tested using Chrome browser instead of Samsung browser.
On the specifications front, the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a 6.3-inch display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage coupled with 8MP front snapper. The phone will ship with dual rear sensors. There are rumors that the Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by a Snapdragon 836 processor.
Without any doubt, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with an assured upgrade to Android O by the end of December. You can expect a fingerprint scanner on the rear side instead of the integrated fingerprint sensor.
