Nokia 3 with Android Nougat: Features, specifications and price

HMD Global has released Nokia 3 in India at Rs. 9499 and is available at all leading retail stores. The handset was originally released along with Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 handsets. You can purchase Nokia 3 in Silver White, Tempered Blue, Matte Black and Copper White color variants.

Nokia 3 is equipped with a 5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass protected display, MediaTek MTK 6737 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage, 8MP rear and front-facing shooter. The handset is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 2650mAh battery.

During the launch event, the Finland-based company also announced the release of monthly security updates identical to that of the other handsets such as Samsung. Going forward, the Nokia 5 smartphone will be released on July 7 and will be available at Rs. 12899.

On the specifications front, the Nokia 5 is equipped with a 5.3-inch HD Corning Gorilla Glass protected display, Snapdragon 430 processor, Adreno 505 graphics, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing shooter. The phone will be available in Matte Black, Tempered Blue, Silver, and Copper color variants.

Talking about Nokia 6, the phone will ship with a 5.5-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing shooter. You will be able to purchase Nokia 6 exclusively via Amazon India from July 14.

Nokia has released several smartphones including the legendary Nokia 3310 smartphone. While few phones are available offline, you can buy select phones from online retail stores. Nokia had a tough time and they never made any impact when it comes to the Windows Phone. It remains to be seen as to how customers accept the newly launched Nokia smartphones.
