AT&T has rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 smartphone. If you would like to receive the update, you need to make sure that the Galaxy Tab S2 runs on the firmware build T817AUCU2BPI4 or T818AUCS1AQD1. In addition to Android Nougat, the update measuring 1.1GB also includes May security patch.
After the installation of the update, you will be able to experience all the latest features of Android 7.0 Nougat such as improved Doze mode, refreshed User Interface, split-screen including the ability to reply quickly from the notification shade.
It remains to be seen as to whether Samsung will push Android 8.0 update by the end of 2017. Based on the rumors, we can also infer that Samsung is currently working to release the much-needed update for Galaxy Tab Active 2. Meanwhile, the company is also scheduled to release Galaxy Tab A 2017 since the tablet has cleared Wi-Fi Alliance certification.
