LG G6+ has been launched with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage in Optical Astro Black, Optical Marine Blue, and Optical Terra Gold colour variants. The attraction of LG G6+ is the addition of wireless charging capability, which enables you to charge the handset without connecting to a power source via wires.
Touted as a supercharged version of the LG G6, the newly launched LG G6+ features a 5.7-inch QHD display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The integration of Snapdragon 821 processor, 6GB RAM alongside 128GB internal storage helps you to play games without any lags. Moreover, you can store plenty of data due to 128GB default storage.
Commenting on the launch, said Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile disclosed that the G series has been designed to offer not only innovation but also latest technology. Moreover, the integration of latest technology like wireless charging will appeal to users.
On the optics front, the LG G6+ ships with 13MP rear camera sensor paired with 5MP front-facing shooter. The entertainment module is powered by B&O Play technology with support for 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC. A 3300mAh battery provides adequate power for the handset.
According to company sources, a bunch of software features will be introduced along with the LG G6+ smartphone. If you work with LG G6, you will also receive a software update via OTA with all the new features.
The Face Print feature helps you to work with the handset using facial recognition technology. Moreover, the feature is enhanced with enhanced security. The LG G6+ also comes with low power consumption mode and a covered lens warning feature.
In the meantime, LG is gearing up to launch Optical Marine and Optical Terra Gold color variants for the LG G6. If you are located in the South Korea, you will be able to purchase LG G6+ smartphone from July 2017.
We don’t have any information about the expected pricing and availability of the smartphone in other emerging markets. To recall, Samsung had launched the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
