Lenovo has rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat update for Lenovo K6 Power and Lenovo K6 Note. Launched in December 2016, the smartphones are not only available on Flipkart and other leading retail outlets across India. The update is being pushed in batches. Hence, it will take few days for the message notification to appear on the display.
The Android 7.0 Nougat update includes support for multi-window, which enables you to run two apps at the same time. You just need to tap on the recent apps button and drag the apps to the top of the display. The Data Saver feature helps you to limit the data usage on the background when you are not using Wi-Fi network. It is also possible to control data usage on individual apps.
If you install the latest update on Lenovo K6 Power and Lenovo K6 Note devices, you will experience clean notifications including the ability to reply directly from the notification bar. You need not have to open any app. To switch to the app you used last, you can double tap on the recent apps button. There is no need to manually select the apps from the list of running apps from the Settings section.
The newly launched Doze mode will be activated in the Lenovo smartphones when the device is not active. It decreases the amount of data sync. With Android 7.0 Nougat, you can modify the size of the font or the display.
The 3GB RAM variant of the Lenovo K6 Power is available at Rs. 9999, while the 4GB RAM model will cost Rs. 10999. You can purchase Lenovo K6 Note for Rs. 13999.
Before proceeding to install the update, you need to activate Wi-Fi since the capacity of the update file will be more than 1GB. Moreover, you should charge the devices completely to avoid interruption during the download and subsequent installation process. If you are unable to view the update message notification, you can also manually tap the Settings icon.
