ZTE Z852 and Z9137 surfaces at Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 7.1.1 Nougat

ZTE is expected to launch a new series of smartphones such as ZTE Z852 and Z9137 loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The rumor assumes significance with the appearance of the two devices at the Wi-Fi Alliance. The documents sourced from the certification agency clearly reveals the fact that the handset will be integrated with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The Wi-Fi Alliance data reveals the respective certification ID. While the smartphone with model number Z852 bears certification ID of WFA72528, the rumored ZTE Z9137 is tagged as ID WFA72455. The operating system is listed as Android 7.1.1 Nougat with a frequency band of 2.4GHz.

The smartphone with model number Z852 is categorized as Smartphone, multi-mode. However, the Z9137 handset falls under the category Mobile Access Point.

Recently, a new ZTE BV0850 smartphone had surfaced on TENAA leaking crucial specifications. The handset will feature a 5-inch HD display, octa-core processor running at 1.4GHz, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing snapper powered by a 2800mAh battery. According to reports, the handset will ship in three memory variants such as 2GB, 3GB and 4GB alongside 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants.

Meanwhile, another smartphone with the same specification like BV0850 also appeared on TEAA. However, the battery was little trimmed with 2500mAh instead of 2800mAh. Going forward all ZTE smartphones will be pre-loaded with Android Nougat.
