Asus rolls out Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Asus Zenfone 3 Max smartphone with model number ZC520TL. With version V14.10.1705.35, the Android 7.0 Nougat update is being pushed via OTA. Hence, it will take few days for the update to hit your smartphone.
After the installation of the update, you will be able to work with all the latest features of Android 7.0 Nougat. It includes split-screen functionality, enhanced Doze mode, quick settings button and improved notifications. You will be able to directly respond to messages from within the lock screen.
On the specifications front, the Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL) is equipped with a 5.2-inch IPS HD display, Mediatek MT6737M processor, Mali-T720MP2 graphics, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
While the rear camera offers 13MP sensor paired with f/2.2 aperture, the front-facing shooter bears a 5MP sensor alongside f/2.0 aperture. A 4130mAh battery completes the package.
As usual, you should establish connectivity with Wi-Fi because the total size of the update will be more than 1GB. Moreover, you should charge the handset up to 95 percent to avoid interruption during the charging process.
According to the post published on Asus ZenTalk, it will take one week for you to receive an automated notification. You have to proceed as per the message displayed on the screen. If you are unable to view the update message prompt, you can easily check for the presence of the update manually by selecting Setting | About | System Update.
